حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَضْحَكُ إِلَى رَجُلَيْنِ يَقْتُلُ أَحَدُهُمَا الْآخَرَ كِلَاهُمَا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ، يُقَاتِلُ هَذَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَيُسْتَشْهَدُ، ثُمَّ يَتُوبُ اللَّهُ عَلَى قَاتِلِهِ، فَيُسْلِمُ فَيُقَاتِلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَيُسْتَشْهَدُ .
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ ان دو افراد کے حال پر ہنستا ہے جن میں سے ایک دوسرے کو قتل کرتا ہے، اور دونوں جنت میں داخل ہوتے ہیں، ایک اللہ تعالیٰ کی راہ میں قتال کرتا ہے اور شہید کر دیا جاتا ہے، پھر اس کے قاتل کو اللہ تعالیٰ توبہ کی توفیق دیتا ہے، اور وہ اسلام قبول کر لیتا ہے، پھر اللہ کی راہ میں لڑائی کرتا ہے اور شہید کر دیا جاتا ہے ۱؎۔
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'Allah will laugh at two persons- one of them kills the other, and both of them enter Paradise, for the first one fought in the cause of Allah and was martyred, then his killer repented to Allah and became Muslim, then he also fought in the cause of Allah and was martyred.'

By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, (the delights and luxuries of) this world will come to you in plenty, and nothing will cause the heart of anyone of you to deviate except that. By Allah, I am leaving you upon something like Bayda (white, bright, clear path) the night and day of which are the same.'
