حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَجَلِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا حَجَبَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُنْذُ أَسْلَمْتُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا رَآنِي إِلَّا تَبَسَّمَ فِي وَجْهِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَقَدْ شَكَوْتُ إِلَيْهِ أَنِّي لَا أَثْبُتُ عَلَى الْخَيْلِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَضَرَبَ بِيَدِهِ فِي صَدْرِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْهُ وَاجْعَلْهُ هَادِيًا مَهْدِيًّا .

جریر بن عبداللہ بجلی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے اپنے پاس آنے سے نہیں روکا، اور جب بھی مجھے دیکھا میرے روبرو مسکرائے اور میں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے شکایت کی کہ میں گھوڑے پر ٹک نہیں پاتا ( گر جاتا ہوں ) تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنا ہاتھ میرے سینے پہ مارا اور دعا فرمائی: اے اللہ! اس کو ثابت رکھ اور اسے ہدایت کنندہ اور ہدایت یافتہ بنا دے ۱؎۔

It was narrated that Jarir bin 'Abdullah Al-Bajali said: The Messenger of Allah never refused to see me from the time I became Muslim, and whenever he saw me he would smile at me. I complained to him that I could not sit firmly on a horse, so he struck me on the chest with his hand and said: 'O Allah, make him firm and cause him to guide others and be rightly-guided.'

Hadith 5

Abu Darda' said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came out to us when we were speaking of poverty and how we feared it. He said: 'Is it poverty that you fear? By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, (the delights and luxuries of) this world will come to you in plenty, and nothing will cause the heart of anyone of you to deviate except that. By Allah, I am leaving you upon something like Bayda (white, bright, clear path) the night and day of which are the same.'
