حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى: رَأَيْتَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: مَاتَ وَهُوَ صَغِيرٌ، وَلَوْ قُضِيَ أَنْ يَكُونَ بَعْدَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيٌّ لَعَاشَ ابْنُهُ، وَلَكِنْ لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدَهُ .
اسماعیل بن ابی خالد کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے عبداللہ بن ابی اوفی رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا: آپ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے صاحب زادے ابراہیم کو دیکھا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: ابراہیم بچپن ہی میں انتقال کر گئے، اور اگر نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے بعد کسی کا نبی ہونا مقدر ہوتا تو آپ کے بیٹے زندہ رہتے، لیکن آپ کے بعد کوئی نبی نہیں ہے ۱؎۔
Isma’il bin Abu Khalid said: “I said to ‘Abdullah bin Abi Awfa: ‘Did you see Ibrahim, the son of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)?’ He said: ‘He died when he was small, and if it had been decreed that there should be any Prophet after Muhammad (ﷺ), his son would have lived. But there is no Prophet after him.’”

Hadith 1433
It was narrated that ‘Ali said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The Muslim has six courtesies due from the Muslim: He should greet him with Salam when he meets him; he should accept his invitation if he invites him; he should answer [by Yarhamuk-Allah (may Allah have mercy on you)] to him if he sneezes (and says Al- Hamdulillah); he should visit him if he falls sick; he should follow his funeral if he dies; and he should love for him what he loves for himself.”
