حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، وَهَدِيَّةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: يَا عُرْوَةُ كَانَ أَبَوَاكَ مِنْ الَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِلَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا أَصَابَهُمُ الْقَرْحُ سورة آل عمران آية 172: أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَالزُّبَيْرُ .
عروہ کہتے ہیں کہ مجھ سے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا: عروہ! تمہارے نانا ( ابوبکر ) اور والد ( زبیر ) ان لوگوں میں سے ہیں جن کے بارے میں یہ آیت کریمہ نازل ہوئی: «الذين استجابوا لله والرسول من بعد ما أصابهم القرح» جن لوگوں نے زخمی ہونے کے باوجود اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی پکار پر لبیک کہا ( سورة آل عمران: 172 ) ، یعنی ابوبکر اور زبیر بن عوام رضی اللہ عنہما۔
It was narrated from Hisham bin 'Urwah that his father said: ''Aishah said to me: 'O 'Urwah, your two fathers were of those who answered (the Call of) Allah and the Messenger (Muhammed) after being wounded, (they were) Abu Bakr and Zubair.''

By Allah, I am leaving you upon something like Bayda (white, bright, clear path) the night and day of which are the same.'
