جسرہ بنت دجاجہ عامر یہ بیان کرتی ہیں کہ   میں نے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کو سنا: ان سے کچھ لوگوں نے سوال کیا اور وہ سب ان سے نبیذ کے بارے میں پوچھ رہے تھے کہہ رہے تھے کہ ہم لوگ صبح کو کھجور بھگوتے اور شام کو پیتے ہیں اور شام کو بھگوتے ہیں تو صبح میں پیتے ہیں، تو وہ بولیں: میں کسی نشہ لانے والی چیز کو حلال قرار نہیں دیتی خواہ وہ روٹی ہو خواہ پانی، انہوں نے ایسا تین بار کہا۔

It was narrated from Qudamah Al-'Amiri that Jasrah bint Dijajah Al-'Amiriyyah told him: I heard 'Aishah when some people asked her about Nabidh, saying we soak dates in the morning and drink it in the evening, or we soak them in the evening and drink them in the morning.
