أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ الْأَوْعِيَةِ، فَانْتَبِذُوا فِيمَا بَدَا لَكُمْ، وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَكُلَّ مُسْكِرٍ .
بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”میں نے تمہیں ( مخصوص ) برتنوں کے استعمال سے منع کیا تھا، لیکن اب تمہیں جو بہتر لگے اس میں نبیذ تیار کرو، البتہ ہر نشہ لانے والی چیز سے بچو“۔
It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Buraidah that his father said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'I used to forbid certain kinds of vessels to you. Now soak (fruits) in whatever you wish, but beware of any intoxicant.'
