أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أُمَيَّةُ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ جَبَلَةَ بْنِ سُحَيْمٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْحَنْتَمِ، قُلْتُ: مَا الْحَنْتَمُ ؟، قَالَ: الْجَرُّ .
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سبز رنگ کے برتن سے منع فرمایا ہے۔ راوی کہتے ہیں: میں نے عرض کیا: «حنتم» کیا ہوتا ہے؟ کہا: مٹی کا برتن۔
It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbade Al-Hantam. I (the narrator) said: What is Al-Hantam? He said: The earthenware jar.
