أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ اللَّيْثِ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْهَادِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ، وَالْهَرَمِ، وَالْمَغْرَمِ، وَالْمَأْثَمِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ .
عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو کہتے ہوئے سنا: «اللہم إني أعوذ بك من الكسل والهرم والمغرم والمأثم وأعوذ بك من شر المسيح الدجال وأعوذ بك من عذاب القبر وأعوذ بك من عذاب النار» ”اے اللہ! میں سستی و کاہلی، بڑھاپے، قرض اور معصیت ( گناہ ) سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں، اور مسیح دجال کے شر و فتنے سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں، قبر کے عذاب سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں، اور جہنم کے عذاب سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں“۔
It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, that his grandfather said: I heard the Messenger of Allah [SAW] say: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-kasali, walharami, wal-maghrami, wal-ma'thami, wa a'udhu bika min sharril-masihid-dajjali, wa a'udhu bika min 'adhabil-qabri, wa a'udhu bika min 'adhabin-nar (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness, old age, debt and sin, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of the Al-Masihid-Dajjal, and I seek refuge in You from the torment of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the Fire.)'

The Messenger of Allah [SAW] stopped delivering his Khutbah and turned to me. A chair was brought, and I think its legs were of iron. The Messenger of Allah [SAW] sat down on it and started to teach me what Allah has taught him, then he went and completed his Khutbah.'
