أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ: يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنَ: الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَسُوءِ الْعُمُرِ، وَفِتْنَةِ الصَّدْرِ، وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ .
عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بزدلی و کم ہمتی، کنجوسی و بخیلی، بری اور لاچاری و مجبوری کی عمر، سینے کے فتنے اور قبر کے عذاب سے اللہ تعالیٰ کی پناہ مانگتے تھے۔
It was narrated from 'Umar that: The Prophet [SAW] used to seek refuge with Allah from cowardice, miserliness, reaching the age of second childhood, the trials of the heart and the torment of the grave.
