أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ، وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ: عَنْ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدٌ، وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: لَا تَبِيعُوا الثَّمَرَ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهُ، وَلَا تَبْتَاعُوا الثَّمَرَ بِالتَّمْرِ ، قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ: حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ مِثْلِهِ سَوَاءً.
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”پھل نہ بیچو جب تک اس کی پختگی ظاہر نہ ہو جائے، اور نہ ( کھجور کے ) درخت کے پھل کا اندازہ کر کے ( درخت سے توڑی ہوئی ) کھجوروں کو بیچو“۔ ابن شہاب زہری کہتے ہیں: مجھ سے سالم بن عبداللہ نے اپنے والد عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت کرتے ہوئے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس جیسی صورت سے منع فرمایا۔
