أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زُنْبُورٍ أَبُو صَالِحٍ الْمَكِّيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ:‏‏‏‏ أُرْسِلُ كِلَابِي الْمُعَلَّمَةَ فَيُمْسِكْنَ عَلَيَّ فَآكُلُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا أَرْسَلْتَ كِلَابَكَ الْمُعَلَّمَةَ،‏‏‏‏ فَأَمْسَكْنَ عَلَيْكَ فَكُلْ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ وَإِنْ قَتَلْنَ ؟، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَإِنْ قَتَلْنَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا لَمْ يَشْرَكْهُنَّ كَلْبٌ مِنْ سِوَاهُنَّ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ أَرْمِي بِالْمِعْرَاضِ فَيَخْزِقُ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنْ خَزَقَ فَكُلْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِنْ أَصَابَ بِعَرْضِهِ فَلَا تَأْكُلْ .

عدی بن حاتم رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! میں سدھائے ہوئے کتے چھوڑتا ہوں تو وہ میرے لیے شکار پکڑ کر لاتے ہیں، کیا میں اسے کھا سکتا ہوں؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”جب تم سدھائے ہوئے کتے چھوڑو ( اور وہ تمہارے لیے شکار پکڑ کر لائیں ) تو اسے کھا لو“، میں نے عرض کیا: اگر وہ اسے مار ڈالیں؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”اگرچہ وہ اسے مار ڈالیں، مگر یہ اسی وقت جب کہ اس کے ساتھ کوئی اور کتا شریک نہ ہوا ہو“ ۱؎ میں نے عرض کیا: میں معراض پھینکتا ہوں اور وہ ( جانور کے جسم میں ) گھس جاتا ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”اگر وہ گھس جائے تو تم کھا لو اور اگر وہ آڑا پڑے تو نہ کھاؤ“۔

It was narrated that 'Adiyy bin Hatim said: I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I release my trained dogs and they catch (game) for me; can I eat It? He said: 'When you release your trained dogs and they catch (game) for you, then eat.' I said: 'Even if they kill it.' He said: 'So long as no other dogs have joined them. I said: 'I shoot with the Mirad. And they penetrate (the game).' He said 'If they penetrate it, then eat, but if the broad said strikes it, then do not eat.

Hadith 4200

Hadith 4201

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: The Imam is like a shield whose orders should be obeyed when they (the Muslims) fight, and where they should seek protection. If he enjoins fear of Allah and behaves justly, then he will be rewarded, but if he enjoins otherwise, then it will be a burden (of sin) on him.
