أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ لُقْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى بْنِ عَدِيٍّ الْبَهْرَانِيِّ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: عِصَابَتَانِ مِنْ أُمَّتِي أَحْرَزَهُمَا اللَّهُ مِنَ النَّارِ: عِصَابَةٌ تَغْزُو الْهِنْدَ، وَعِصَابَةٌ تَكُونُ مَعَ عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَام .
ثوبان رضی الله عنہ مولی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”میری امت میں دو گروہ ایسے ہیں جنہیں اللہ تعالیٰ نے جہنم سے محفوظ کر دیا ہے۔ ایک گروہ وہ ہو گا جو ہند پر لشکر کشی کرے گا اور ایک گروہ وہ ہو گا جو عیسیٰ بن مریم علیہما السلام کے ساتھ ہو گا“۔
It was narrated that Thawban, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'There are two groups of my Ummah whom Allah will free from the Fire: The group that invades India, and the group that will be with 'Isa bin Maryam, peace be upon him.'

Hadith 3087
Narrated It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said: “When the Prophet was expelled from Makkah, Abu Bakr said to him: ‘They have driven out their Prophet, verily to Allah we belong and to Him we return. They are surely doomed.’ Then it was revealed: ‘Permission to fight (against disbelievers) is given to those (believers) who are fought against, because they have been wronged; and surely, Allah is able to give them (believers) victory.’ Then I knew that there would be fighting.” Ibn Abbas said: “This is the first Verse that was revealed concerning fighting.”
