أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ الْوَرَّاقُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ جَاهِمَةَ السَّلَمِيِّ، أَنَّ جَاهِمَةَ جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَغْزُوَ وَقَدْ جِئْتُ أَسْتَشِيرُكَ، فَقَالَ: هَلْ لَكَ مِنْ أُمٍّ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: فَالْزَمْهَا، فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ تَحْتَ رِجْلَيْهَا .
معاویہ بن جاہمہ سلمی سے روایت ہے کہ جاہمہ رضی اللہ عنہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے، اور عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! میں جہاد کرنے کا ارادہ رکھتا ہوں، اور آپ کے پاس آپ سے مشورہ لینے کے لیے حاضر ہوا ہوں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( ان سے ) پوچھا: کیا تمہاری ماں موجود ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: جی ہاں، آپ نے فرمایا: ”انہیں کی خدمت میں لگے رہو، کیونکہ جنت ان کے دونوں قدموں کے نیچے ہے“ ۱؎۔
It was narrated from Mu'awiyah bin Jahimah As-Sulami, that Jahimah came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I want to go out and fight (in Jihad) and I have come to ask your advice. He said: Do you have a mother? He said: Yes. He said: Then stay with her, for Paradise is beneath her feet.

Hadith 3087
Narrated It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said: “When the Prophet was expelled from Makkah, Abu Bakr said to him: ‘They have driven out their Prophet, verily to Allah we belong and to Him we return. They are surely doomed.’ Then it was revealed: ‘Permission to fight (against disbelievers) is given to those (believers) who are fought against, because they have been wronged; and surely, Allah is able to give them (believers) victory.’ Then I knew that there would be fighting.” Ibn Abbas said: “This is the first Verse that was revealed concerning fighting.”
