أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مَخْرَمَةُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: مَا مِنْ يَوْمٍ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أَنْ يُعْتِقَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِيهِ عَبْدًا أَوْ أَمَةً مِنَ النَّارِ مِنْ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ إِنَّهُ لَيَدْنُو، ثُمَّ يُبَاهِي بِهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ، وَيَقُولُ: مَا أَرَادَ هَؤُلَاءِ ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ: يُشْبِهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ يُونُسَ بْنَ يُوسُفَ الَّذِي رَوَى عَنْهُ مَالِكٌ وَاللَّهُ تَعَالَى أَعْلَمُ.
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اللہ عزوجل عرفہ کے دن جتنے غلام اور لونڈیاں جہنم سے آزاد کرتا ہے اتنا کسی اور دن نہیں کرتا، اس دن وہ اپنے بندوں سے قریب ہوتا ہے، اور ان کے ذریعہ فرشتوں پر فخر کرتا ہے، اور پوچھتا ہے، یہ لوگ کیا چاہتے ہیں؟“۔ ابوعبدالرحمٰن نسائی کہتے ہیں: ہو سکتا ہے یہ یونس ( جن کا اس روایت میں نام آیا ہے ) یونس بن یوسف ہوں، جن سے مالک نے روایت کی ہے واللہ تعالیٰ اعلم۔
It was narrated that from Aishah that the Messenger of Allah said: There is no day on which Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, frees more of his slaves, male and female, from the fire, than the day of Arafah. He comes close, then he boasts to the angels about them and say: 'What do these people want?' (Sahih) Abdu Abdur-Rhamn (An-Nasai) said: It appears that Yunus bin Yusuf is the one who reported it from Malik and Allah, most High, Knows best.

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Abbas: Al-Fadl (his brother) was riding behind Allah's Apostle and a woman from the tribe of Khath'am came and Al-Fadl started looking at her and she started looking at him. The Prophet turned Al-Fadl's face to the other side. The woman said, O Allah's Apostle! The obligation of Hajj enjoined by Allah on His devotees has become due on my father and he is old and weak, and he cannot sit firm on the Mount; may I perform Hajj on his behalf? The Prophet replied, Yes, you may. That happened during the Hajj-al-Wida (of the Prophet ).
