أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ أَبِي وَدَاعَةَ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ فَرَغَ مِنْ سُبُعِهِ جَاءَ حَاشِيَةَ الْمَطَافِ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَلَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الطَّوَّافِينَ أَحَد .
مطلب بن ابی وداعہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا جس وقت آپ طواف کے اپنے سات پھیروں سے فارغ ہوئے، تو مطاف کے کنارے آئے، اور آپ نے دو رکعت نماز پڑھی، اور آپ کے اور طواف کرنے والوں کے درمیان کسی طرح کی آڑ نہ تھی ۱؎۔
It was narrated that Al-Muttalib bin Wadaah said: I saw the Prophet when he had completed his seven (circuits of Tawaf); he came to the edge of the Mataf and prayed two Rakahs, with nothing in between him and people who were circumambulating. (Daif)

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Abbas: Al-Fadl (his brother) was riding behind Allah's Apostle and a woman from the tribe of Khath'am came and Al-Fadl started looking at her and she started looking at him. The Prophet turned Al-Fadl's face to the other side. The woman said, O Allah's Apostle! The obligation of Hajj enjoined by Allah on His devotees has become due on my father and he is old and weak, and he cannot sit firm on the Mount; may I perform Hajj on his behalf? The Prophet replied, Yes, you may. That happened during the Hajj-al-Wida (of the Prophet ).
