أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ أَبِي عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: كُنْتُ أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَدْخُلَ الْبَيْتَ، فَأُصَلِّيَ فِيهِ، فَأَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِي، فَأَدْخَلَنِي الْحِجْرَ، فَقَالَ: إِذَا أَرَدْتِ دُخُولَ الْبَيْتِ، فَصَلِّي هَا هُنَا، فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ قِطْعَةٌ مِنْ الْبَيْتِ، وَلَكِنَّ قَوْمَكِ اقْتَصَرُوا حَيْثُ بَنَوْهُ .
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ میں چاہتی تھی کہ میں بیت اللہ کے اندر داخل ہوں، اور اس میں نماز پڑھوں، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے میرا ہاتھ پکڑ اور مجھے حطیم کے اندر کر دیا، پھر فرمایا: ”جب تم بیت اللہ کے اندر جا کر نماز پڑھنا چاہو تو یہاں آ کر پڑھ لیا کرو، یہ بھی بیت اللہ کا ایک ٹکڑا ہے۔ لیکن تمہاری قوم نے بناتے وقت اتنا کم کر کے بنایا“ ۱؎۔
It was narrated that Aishah said: I wanted to enter the House and pray therein, so the Messenger of Allah took me by the hand and took me into the Hijr and said: 'If you want to enter the House, then pray here, for it is part of the House, but your people made it too small when they built it.' Hadith 1513
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Abbas: Al-Fadl (his brother) was riding behind Allah's Apostle and a woman from the tribe of Khath'am came and Al-Fadl started looking at her and she started looking at him. The Prophet turned Al-Fadl's face to the other side. The woman said, O Allah's Apostle! The obligation of Hajj enjoined by Allah on His devotees has become due on my father and he is old and weak, and he cannot sit firm on the Mount; may I perform Hajj on his behalf? The Prophet replied, Yes, you may. That happened during the Hajj-al-Wida (of the Prophet ).
