أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا قَزَعَةَ الْبَاهِلِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ الْمَكِّيِّ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَرَى الْبَيْتَ أَيَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ ؟ قَالَ: مَا كُنْتُ أَظُنُّ أَحَدًا يَفْعَلُ هَذَا إِلَّا الْيَهُودَ، حَجَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمْ نَكُنْ نَفْعَلُهُ .
مہاجر مکی کہتے ہیں کہ جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما سے اس شخص کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا جو بیت اللہ کو دیکھے، تو کیا وہ اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اٹھائے؟ انہوں نے کہا: میں نہیں سمجھتا کہ یہود کے سوا کوئی ایسا کرتا ہے۔ ہم نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ حج کیا، تو ہم ایسا نہیں کرتے تھے۔
It was narrated that Al-Muhajir Al-Makki said: Jabir bin Abdullah was asked whether a man should raise his hands when he sees the House. He said: I do not think that anyone does that except the Jews. We performed Hajj with the Messenger of Allah and we did not do that. (Daif)

Hadith 1513
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Abbas: Al-Fadl (his brother) was riding behind Allah's Apostle and a woman from the tribe of Khath'am came and Al-Fadl started looking at her and she started looking at him. The Prophet turned Al-Fadl's face to the other side. The woman said, O Allah's Apostle! The obligation of Hajj enjoined by Allah on His devotees has become due on my father and he is old and weak, and he cannot sit firm on the Mount; may I perform Hajj on his behalf? The Prophet replied, Yes, you may. That happened during the Hajj-al-Wida (of the Prophet ).
