أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ الْبَصْرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ الْحَجَّاجِ الصَّوَّافِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: مَنْ عَرِجَ أَوْ كُسِرَ فَقَدْ حَلَّ، وَعَلَيْهِ حَجَّةٌ أُخْرَى ، فَسَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، وَأَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَا: صَدَقَ.
حجاج بن عمرو انصاری رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا کہ ”جو شخص لنگڑا ہو جائے، یا جس کی کوئی ہڈی ٹوٹ جائے، تو وہ حلال ہو جائے گا، ( اس کا احرام کھل جائے گا ) اور اس پر دوسرا حج ہو گا“، ( عکرمہ کہتے ہیں ) میں نے عبداللہ بن عباس اور ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہم سے اس کے متعلق پوچھا، تو ان دونوں نے کہا کہ انہوں ( یعنی حجاج انصاری ) نے سچ کہا۔
It was narrated from Ikrimah, from Al-Hajjaj bin Amr Al-Ansari that: he heard the Messenger of Allah say Whoever suffers a leg injury of breaks his leg, he has exited Ihram, but he has to perform another Hajj. I asked Ibn Abbas and Abu Hurarirah about that and he said He spoke the truth.

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Abbas: Al-Fadl (his brother) was riding behind Allah's Apostle and a woman from the tribe of Khath'am came and Al-Fadl started looking at her and she started looking at him. The Prophet turned Al-Fadl's face to the other side. The woman said, O Allah's Apostle! The obligation of Hajj enjoined by Allah on His devotees has become due on my father and he is old and weak, and he cannot sit firm on the Mount; may I perform Hajj on his behalf?
