أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ قَيْسَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَعْلَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ وَهُوَ بِالْجِعِرَّانَةِ وَعَلَيْهِ جُبَّةٌ وَهُوَ مُصَفِّرٌ لِحْيَتَهُ وَرَأْسَهُ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أَحْرَمْتُ بِعُمْرَةٍ وَأَنَا كَمَا تَرَى فَقَالَ: انْزِعْ عَنْكَ الْجُبَّةَ، وَاغْسِلْ عَنْكَ الصُّفْرَةَ، وَمَا كُنْتَ صَانِعًا فِي حَجَّتِكَ فَاصْنَعْهُ فِي عُمْرَتِكَ .
یعلیٰ بن امیہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا، اور آپ جعرانہ میں تھے، وہ جبہ پہنے ہوئے تھا، اور اپنی داڑھی اور سر کو ( زعفران سے ) پیلا کیے ہوئے تھا۔ اس نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! میں نے عمرے کا احرام باندھ رکھا ہے اور میں جس طرح ہوں آپ مجھے دیکھ رہے ہیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جبہ اتار دو اور زردی اپنے سے دھو ڈالو، اور جو حج میں کرتے ہو وہی اپنے عمرہ میں بھی کرو“۔
It was narrated f rom Safwan bin Ya'la that his father saide: A man came to the Messenger of Allah when he was in Al-Jirranah wearing a Jubnah, and having applied Khauq to his beard and head. He said: 'O Messenger of Allah! I have entered Ihram for 'Umrah and I am as you see.' He said: 'Take off the Jubbah and wash off the perfume, and whatever you would do for Hajj, do it for 'Umrah.'''

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Abbas: Al-Fadl (his brother) was riding behind Allah's Apostle and a woman from the tribe of Khath'am came and Al-Fadl started looking at her and she started looking at him. The Prophet turned Al-Fadl's face to the other side. The woman said, O Allah's Apostle! The obligation of Hajj enjoined by Allah on His devotees has become due on my father and he is old and weak, and he cannot sit firm on the Mount; may I perform Hajj on his behalf? The Prophet replied, Yes, you may. That happened during the Hajj-al-Wida (of the Prophet ).
