أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أُخْتِهِ حَفْصَةَ، قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا شَأْنُ النَّاسِ حَلُّوا وَلَمْ تَحِلَّ مِنْ عُمْرَتِكَ ؟ قَالَ: إِنِّي لَبَّدْتُ رَأْسِي، وَقَلَّدْتُ هَدْيِي، فَلَا أُحِلُّ حَتَّى أُحِلَّ مِنَ الْحَجِّ .
ام المؤمنین حفصہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! کیا بات ہے لوگوں نے احرام کھول دیا ہے اور آپ نے اپنے عمرہ کا احرام نہیں کھولا؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”میں نے اپنے سر کی تلبید ۱؎، اور اپنے ہدی کی تقلید ۲؎ کر رکھی ہے، تو میں احرام نہیں کھولوں گا جب تک کہ حج سے فارغ نہ ہو جاؤں“۔
It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Umar that his sister, Hafsah, said; I said to the Prophet;'O Messenger of Allah! Why is it that the people have exited Ihram and you have not exited Ihram following your 'Umrah?'He said: 'I have matted my hair and garlanded my Hadi (sacrificial animal), so I will not exit Ihram until I exit Ihram after Hajj.'''

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Abbas: Al-Fadl (his brother) was riding behind Allah's Apostle and a woman from the tribe of Khath'am came and Al-Fadl started looking at her and she started looking at him. The Prophet turned Al-Fadl's face to the other side. The woman said, O Allah's Apostle! The obligation of Hajj enjoined by Allah on His devotees has become due on my father and he is old and weak, and he cannot sit firm on the Mount; may I perform Hajj on his behalf? The Prophet replied, Yes, you may. That happened during the Hajj-al-Wida (of the Prophet ).
