أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قال: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ، وَوَكِيعٌ، وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْعَائِشَةَ، قالت: جَاءَتْ فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ أَبِي حُبَيْشٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَتْ: إِنِّي امْرَأَةٌ أُسْتَحَاضُ فَلَا أَطْهُرُ، أَفَأَدَعُ الصَّلَاةَ ؟ قَالَ: لَا، إِنَّمَا ذَلِكَ عِرْقٌ وَلَيْسَ بِالْحَيْضَةِ، فَإِذَا أَقْبَلَتِ الْحَيْضَةُ فَدَعِي الصَّلَاةَ، وَإِذَا أَدْبَرَتْ فَاغْسِلِي عَنْكِ الدَّمَ وَصَلِّي .
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ فاطمہ بنت ابی حبیش رضی اللہ عنہا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئیں، اور عرض کیا کہ میں ایک ایسی عورت ہوں جسے استحاضہ کا خون آتا رہتا ہے، تو میں پاک نہیں رہ پاتی ہوں، کیا نماز چھوڑ دوں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: نہیں، یہ تو رگ ( کا خون ) ہے حیض کا خون نہیں، تو جب حیض کا خون آئے تو نماز چھوڑ دو، اور جب بند ہو جائے تو اپنے ( جسم اور کپڑے سے ) خون دھو لو، اور ( غسل کر کے ) نماز پڑھو ۔
It was narrated that 'Aishah said: Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: I am a woman who suffers from Istihadah (non-menstrual vaginal bleeding) and I never become pure. Should I stop praying? He said: No, that is a vein, it is not menstruation. When you period comes, stop praying, and when it goes, wash the blood from yourself and pray.

It was narrated from Abu Burdah that Abu Musa said: I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) when he was using the Siwak and with me were two men of the Ash'aris - one on my right and the other on my left - who were seeking to be appointed as officials. I said: 'By the One Who sent you as a Prophet with the truth, they did not tell me why they wanted to come with me and I did not realize that they were seeking to be appointed as officials.' And I could see his Siwak beneath his lip, then it slipped and he said: 'We do not' - or; 'We will never appoint as an official anyone who seeks that. Rather you should go.' So he sent his (Abu Musa) to Yemen, then he sent Mu'adh bin Jabal to go after him - may Allah be pleased with them.
