أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي بُكَيْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: مَنِ احْتَسَبَ ثَلَاثَةً مِنْ صُلْبِهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ ، فَقَامَتِ امْرَأَةٌ، فَقَالَتْ: أَوِ اثْنَانِ، قَالَ: أَوِ اثْنَانِ ، قَالَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ: يَا لَيْتَنِي قُلْتُ وَاحِدًا.
انس رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس شخص کی تین صلبی اولاد مر جائیں ( اور ) وہ اللہ تعالیٰ سے اس کا اجر و ثواب چاہے، تو وہ جنت میں داخل ہو گا ( اتنے میں ) ایک عورت کھڑی ہوئی اور بولی: اور دو اولاد مرنے پر؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: دو اولاد کے مرنے پر بھی ، اس عورت نے کہا: کاش! میں ایک ہی کہتی ۱؎۔
It was narrated from Anas that the Messenger of Allah said: Whoever seeks reward for (the loss of) three of his own children, he will enter Paradise. A woman stood up and said: Or two? He said: Or two. The woman said: I wish that I had said, 'or one. '

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said: None of you should wish for death. Either he is a doer of good, so perhaps he may do more good, or he is an evildoer but perhaps he will give up his evil ways.
