أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قال: أَنْبَأَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، قال: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ نَمِرٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الزُّهْرِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْعُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَنَّهُ صَلَّى أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ فِي أَرْبَعِ سَجَدَاتٍ وَجَهَرَ فِيهَا بِالْقِرَاءَةِ كُلَّمَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ، قَالَ: سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ .
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے چار رکوع اور چار سجدوں کے ساتھ ( گرہن کی ) نماز پڑھی، آپ نے ان میں بلند آواز سے قرآت کی، آپ جب جب رکوع سے سر اٹھاتے تو «سمع اللہ لمن حمده، ربنا ولك الحمد» کہتے۔
It was narrated from Aishah that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed, bowing four times, and he recited loudly, and every time he raised his head he said: Sami Allahu liman hamidah. Rabbana wa lakal-hamd (Allah hears those who praise Him, Our Lord to You be praise.).

It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'The sun and moon are two signs of Allah (SWT), the Most High, and they do not become eclipsed for death or birth of anyone, rather Allah (SWT), the Mighty and Sublime, strikes fear into His slaves through them.'

Abdur-Rahman bin Samurah said: While I was (practicing) shooting some arrows in Al-Madinah, the sun became eclipsed.
