أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ دُحَيْمٌ، وَسُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ، عَنْ ابْنِ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، قال: دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبِلَالٌ الْأَسْوَاقَ فَذَهَبَ لِحَاجَتِهِ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ، قَالَ أُسَامَةُ: فَسَأَلْتُ بِلَالًا: مَا صَنَعَ ؟ فَقَالَ بِلَالٌ: ذَهَبَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِحَاجَتِهِ، ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ، فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى .
اسامہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہا کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور بلال رضی اللہ عنہ اسواف ۱؎ میں داخل ہوئے، تو آپ قضائے حاجت کے لیے تشریف لے گئے، پھر نکلے، اسامہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ تو میں نے بلال رضی اللہ عنہ سے دریافت کیا: آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کیا کیا؟ بلال رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم قضائے حاجت کے لیے تشریف لے گئے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے وضو کیا، چنانچہ اپنا چہرہ اور اپنے دونوں ہاتھ دھوئے، اور اپنے سر کا مسح کیا، اور دونوں موزوں پر مسح کیا، پھر نماز ادا کی۔
It was narrated that Usamah bin Zaid said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and Bilal entered Al-Aswaf [1] and he went to relieve himself and then came out. Usamah said: I asked Bilal: 'What did he do?' Bilal said: 'The Prophet (ﷺ) went to relieve himself, then he performed Wudu', so he washed his hands and face, and wiped his head and he wiped over his Khuffs, then prayed.'

It was narrated from Abu Burdah that Abu Musa said: I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) when he was using the Siwak and with me were two men of the Ash'aris - one on my right and the other on my left - who were seeking to be appointed as officials. I said: 'By the One Who sent you as a Prophet with the truth, they did not tell me why they wanted to come with me and I did not realize that they were seeking to be appointed as officials.' And I could see his Siwak beneath his lip, then it slipped and he said: 'We do not' - or; 'We will never appoint as an official anyone who seeks that. Rather you should go.' So he sent his (Abu Musa) to Yemen, then he sent Mu'adh bin Jabal to go after him - may Allah be pleased with them.
