حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ. ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ، قَالَ: لَقِيتُ رَجُلًا صَحِبَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْبَعَ سِنِينَ كَمَا صَحِبَهُ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ الْمَرْأَةُ بِفَضْلِ الرَّجُلِ، أَوْ يَغْتَسِلَ الرَّجُلُ بِفَضْلِ الْمَرْأَةِ ، زَادَ مُسَدَّدٌ: وَلْيَغْتَرِفَا جَمِيعًا.
حمید حمیری کہتے ہیں کہ میری ملاقات ایک ایسے شخص سے ہوئی جنہیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی صحبت میں اسی طرح چار سال تک رہنے کا موقع ملا تھا جیسے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی صحبت میں رہے تھے، وہ کہتے ہیں: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عورت کو مرد کے بچے ہوئے پانی سے اور مرد کو عورت کے بچے ہوئے پانی سے غسل کرنے سے منع فرمایا۔ مسدد نے اتنا اضافہ کیا ہے: چاہیئے کہ دونوں ایک ساتھ لپ سے پانی لیں ۔
Narrated Humayd al-Himyari: Humayd al-Himyari reported: I met a person (among the Companion of Prophet) who remained in the company of the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلمfor four years as Abu Hurairah remained in his company. He reported: The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم forbade that the female should wash with the water left over by the male, and that the male should wash with the left-over of the female. The version of Musaddad adds: That they both take the handful of water together.

Abu al-Tayyah reported on the authority of a shaykh (an old man): When Abdullah ibn Abbas came to Basrah, people narrated to him traditions from Abu Musa. Therefore Ibn Abbas wrote to him asking him about certain things. In reply Abu Musa wrote to him saying: One day I was in the company of theMessenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. He wanted to urinate. Then he came to a soft ground at the foot of a wall and urinated. He (the Prophet) then said: If any of you wants to urinate, he should look for a place (like this) for his urination.
