حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ مُطَرِّفٍ أَبُو سُفْيَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: كَانَ يَلْبَسُ النِّعَالَ السِّبْتِيَّةَ وَيُصَفِّرُ لِحْيَتَهُ بِالْوَرْسِ وَالزَّعْفَرَانِ وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ .
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھال کی سبتی جوتیاں پہنتے تھے جس پر بال نہیں ہوتے تھے، اور اپنی داڑھی ورس ۱؎ اور زعفران سے رنگتے تھے، اور ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما بھی ایسا کرتے تھے۔
Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم used to wear tanned leather sandals and dye his beard yellow with wars and saffron, and Ibn Umar used to do that too.
