حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، وَسُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ السُّوَائِيُّ هُوَ أَخُو قَبِيصَةَ، وَحُمَيْدُ بْنُ خُوَارٍ، عَنْسُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ،عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلِي شَعْرٌ طَوِيلٌ فَلَمَّا رَآنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ذُبَابٌ ذُبَابٌ، قَالَ: فَرَجَعْتُ فَجَزَزْتُهُ ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُهُ مِنَ الْغَدِ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي لَمْ أَعْنِكَ وَهَذَا أَحْسَنُ .
وائل بن حجر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا، میرے بال لمبے تھے تو جب آپ نے مجھے دیکھا تو فرمایا: نحوست ہے، نحوست تو میں واپس لوٹ گیا اور جا کر اسے کاٹ ڈالا، پھر دوسرے دن آپ کی خدمت میں آیا تو آپ نے فرمایا: میں نے تیرے ساتھ کوئی برائی نہیں کی، یہ اچھا ہے ۔
Narrated Wail ibn Hujr: I came to the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and I had long hair. When the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم saw me, he said: Evil, evil! He said: I then returned and cut them off. I then came to him in the morning. He said (to me): I did not intend to do evil to you. This is much better.
