حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ: وَرُبَمَا ذَكَرَ ابْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ، قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرُ، وَعُثْمَانُ يَقْرَءُونَ: مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ سورة الفاتحة آية 4 وَأَوَّلُ مَنْ قَرَأَهَا 0 مَلِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ 0 مَرْوَانُ ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد: هَذَا أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَالزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ.
عبدالرزاق کہتے ہیں ہمیں معمر نے زہری کے واسطہ سے خبر دی ہے اور معمر نے کبھی کبھی زہری کے بجائے ابن مسیب کا ذکر کیا ہے، وہ کہتے ہیں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ابوبکر و عمر اور عثمان «مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ» پڑھتے تھے اور «مَلِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ» سب سے پہلے مروان نے پڑھا ہے۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: یہ مرسل سند زہری کی حدیث سے جو انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے نیز زہری کی اس حدیث سے جو سالم سے مروی ہے اور وہ اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں زیادہ صحیح ہے۔
Narrated Ibn al-Musayyab: The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman used to read maliki yawmid-din (master of the Day of Judgment) . The first to read maliki yawmid-din was Marwan. Abu Dawud said: This is sounder that the tradition which transmitted by al-Zuhri from Anas, and al-Zuhri from Salim, from his father (Ibn Umar).
