حَدَّثَنَا مُجَاهِدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، وَعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ المعنى، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنِييَحْيَى بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحِلُّ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو السَّمْحِ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ أَخْدِمُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَكَانَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ قَالَ: وَلِّنِي قَفَاكَ، فَأُوَلِّيهِ قَفَايَ فَأَسْتُرُهُ بِهِ، فَأُتِيَ بِحَسَنٍ، أَوْ حُسَيْنٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، فَبَالَ عَلَى صَدْرِهِ، فَجِئْتُ أَغْسِلُهُ، فَقَالَ: يُغْسَلُ مِنْ بَوْلِ الْجَارِيَةِ، وَيُرَشُّ مِنْ بَوْلِ الْغُلَامِ ، قَالَ عَبَّاسٌ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد: وَهُوَ أَبُو الزَّعْرَاءِ، قَالَ هَارُونُ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ: الْأَبْوَالُ كُلُّهَا سَوَاءٌ.
ابو سمح رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت کرتا تھا، جب آپ غسل کرنا چاہتے تو مجھ سے فرماتے: تم اپنی پیٹھ میری جانب کر لو ، چنانچہ میں چہرہ پھیر کر اپنی پیٹھ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی جانب کر کے آپ پر آڑ کئے رہتا، ( ایک مرتبہ ) حسن یا حسین رضی اللہ عنہما کو آپ کی خدمت میں لایا گیا تو انہوں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سینے پر پیشاب کر دیا، میں اسے دھونے کے لیے بڑھا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: لڑکی کا پیشاب دھویا جاتا ہے اور لڑکے کے پیشاب پر پانی چھڑکا جاتا ہے ۔ حسن بصری کہتے ہیں: ( بچوں اور بچیوں کے ) پیشاب سب برابر ہیں ۱؎۔
Narrated AbusSamh: I used to serve the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. Whenever he intended to wash himself, he would say: Turn your back towards me, So I would turn my back and hide him. (Once) Hasan or Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them) was brought to him and he passed water on his chest. I came to wash it. He said: It is only the urine of a female which should be washed; the urine of a male should be sprinkled over. Abbas (a narrator) said: Yahya bin al-Walid narrated the tradition to us. Abu Dawud said: He (Yahya) is Abu al-Za'ra'. Harun bin Tamim said on the authority of al-Hasan: All sorts of urine are equal.

Abu al-Tayyah reported on the authority of a shaykh (an old man): When Abdullah ibn Abbas came to Basrah, people narrated to him traditions from Abu Musa. Therefore Ibn Abbas wrote to him asking him about certain things. In reply Abu Musa wrote to him saying: One day I was in the company of theMessenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. He wanted to urinate. Then he came to a soft ground at the foot of a wall and urinated. He (the Prophet) then said: If any of you wants to urinate, he should look for a place (like this) for his urination.

Anas bin Malik reported: When the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم entered the toilet, he used to say (before entering): O Allaah, I seek refuge in Thee. This is according to the version of Hammad. Abd al-Warith has another version: I seek refuge in Allaah from male and female devils.
