حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الدَّالَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ الْأَوْدِيِّ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: إِذَا اجْتَمَعَ الدَّاعِيَانِ، فَأَجِبْ أَقْرَبَهُمَا بَابًا، فَإِنَّ أَقْرَبَهُمَا بَابًا أَقْرَبَهُمَا جِوَارًا، وَإِنْ سَبَقَ أَحَدُهُمَا فَأَجِبْ الَّذِي سَبَقَ .
ایک صحابی رسول سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب دو دعوت دینے والے ایک ساتھ دعوت دیں تو ان میں سے جس کا مکان قریب ہو اس کی دعوت قبول کرو، کیونکہ جس کا مکان زیادہ قریب ہو گا وہ ہمسائیگی میں قریب تر ہو گا، اور اگر ان میں سے کوئی پہل کر جائے تو اس کی قبول کرو جس نے پہل کی ہو ۔
Narrated Abdur Rahman al-Himyari: A companion of the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم reported him as saying: When two people come together to issue an invitation, accept that of the one whose door is nearer in neighbourhood, but if one of them comes before the other accept the invitation of the one who comes first.
