حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ قَيْسٍ بِنْتِ مِحْصَنٍ، أَنَّهَا أَتَتْ بِابْنٍ لَهَا صَغِيرٍ لَمْ يَأْكُلِ الطَّعَامَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَجْلَسَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حِجْرِهِ فَبَالَ عَلَى ثَوْبِهِ، فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَنَضَحَهُ وَلَمْ يَغْسِلْهُ .
ام قیس بنت محصن رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ وہ اپنے ایک چھوٹے اور شیر خوار بچے کو لے کر جو ابھی کھانا نہیں کھاتا تھا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے اپنی گود میں بٹھا لیا، اور اس نے آپ کے کپڑے پر پیشاب کر دیا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پانی منگوا کر اس پر چھینٹا ما ر لیا اور اسے دھویا نہیں۔
Umm Qais daughter of Mihsan reported that she came to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم with her little son who had not attained the age of eating food. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم seated him in his lap, and he urinated on his clothe. He sent for water and sprayed it (over his clothe) and did not wash it.

Abu al-Tayyah reported on the authority of a shaykh (an old man): When Abdullah ibn Abbas came to Basrah, people narrated to him traditions from Abu Musa. Therefore Ibn Abbas wrote to him asking him about certain things. In reply Abu Musa wrote to him saying: One day I was in the company of theMessenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. He wanted to urinate. Then he came to a soft ground at the foot of a wall and urinated. He (the Prophet) then said: If any of you wants to urinate, he should look for a place (like this) for his urination.
