حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، وَسَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: إِذَا كَرِهَ الِاثْنَانِ الْيَمِينَ أَوِ اسْتَحَبَّاهَا فَلْيَسْتَهِمَا عَلَيْهَا ، قَالَ سَلَمَةُ: قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، وَقَالَ: إِذَا أُكْرِهَ الِاثْنَانِ عَلَى الْيَمِينِ .
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب دونوں آدمی قسم کھانے کو برا جانیں، یا دونوں قسم کھانا چاہیں تو قسم کھانے پر قرعہ اندازی کریں ( اور جس کے نام قرعہ نکلے وہ قسم کھا کر اس چیز کو لے لے ) ۔ سلمہ کہتے ہیں: عبدالرزاق کی روایت میں «حدثنا معمر» کے بجائے «أخبرنا معمر» اور «إذا كَرِهَ الاثنان اليمين» کے بجائے «إذا أكره الاثنان على اليمين»ہے۔
Abu Hurairah reported the holy prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم as saying: When two men dislike the oath or like it, lots will be cost about it. Salamah said on the authority of Mamar who said: when the two are compelled to take an oath.
