حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ الْحَسَنِ يَعْنِي جَدَّةَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْعَدَوِيِّ، عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ، قَالَتْ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنِ الْحَائِضِ يُصِيبُ ثَوْبَهَا الدَّمُ، قَالَتْ: تَغْسِلُهُ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَذْهَبْ أَثَرُهُ فَلْتُغَيِّرْهُ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ صُفْرَةٍ، قَالَتْ: وَلَقَدْ كُنْتُ أَحِيضُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلَاثَ حِيَضٍ جَمِيعًا لَا أَغْسِلُ لِي ثَوْبًا .
معاذہ کہتی ہیں کہ میں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے اس حائضہ کے بارے میں دریافت کیا جس کے کپڑے پر ( حیض کا ) خون لگ جائے، تو انہوں نے کہا: وہ اسے دھو ڈالے اور اگر اس کا اثر زائل نہ ہو تو اسے کسی زرد چیز سے ( رنگ کر ) بدل دے ، عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں: مجھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس تین تین حیض اکٹھے لگاتار آتے تھے، میں ( ایام حیض میں پہنا ہوا ) اپنا کپڑا نہیں دھوتی تھی ۔
Muadhah said that Aishah was asked about (washing) the clothes of a menstruating woman smeared with blood. She said: She should wash it; in case mark is not removed she should change it by applying some yellow color. I had three menstruations together while I lives with the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, but I did not wash my clothes.

Abu al-Tayyah reported on the authority of a shaykh (an old man): When Abdullah ibn Abbas came to Basrah, people narrated to him traditions from Abu Musa. Therefore Ibn Abbas wrote to him asking him about certain things. In reply Abu Musa wrote to him saying: One day I was in the company of theMessenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. He wanted to urinate. Then he came to a soft ground at the foot of a wall and urinated. He (the Prophet) then said: If any of you wants to urinate, he should look for a place (like this) for his urination.
