حَدَّثَنَا مَخْلَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: أُخْبِرْتُ عَنْ عُثَيْمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْجَدِّهِ، أَنَّهُ جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: قَدْ أَسْلَمْتُ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَلْقِ عَنْكَ شَعْرَ الْكُفْرِ يَقُولُ: احْلِقْ، قَالَ: وأَخْبَرَنِي آخَرُ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ لِآخَرَ مَعَهُ: أَلْقِ عَنْكَ شَعْرَ الْكُفْرِ وَاخْتَتِنْ .
کلیب کہتے ہیں کہ وہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے اور بولے: میں اسلام لے آیا ہوں، تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا: تم اپنے ( بدن ) سے کفر کے بال صاف کراؤ ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرما رہے تھے: بال منڈوا لو ، عثیم کے والد کا بیان ہے کہ ایک دوسرے شخص نے مجھے یہ خبر دی کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دوسرے شخص سے جو ان کے ساتھ تھا فرمایا: تم اپنے ( بدن ) سے کفر کے بال صاف کرو اور ختنہ کرو ۔
Uthaim bin Kulaib reported from his father (Kuthair) on the authority of his grandfather (Kulaib) that he came to the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم: I have embraced Islam. The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said to him: Remove from yourself the hair that grew during of unbelief, saying shave them . He further says that another person (other than the grandfather of 'Uthaim) reported to him that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said to another person who accompanied him: Remove from yourself the hair that grew during the period of unbelief and get yourself circumcised.

Abu al-Tayyah reported on the authority of a shaykh (an old man): When Abdullah ibn Abbas came to Basrah, people narrated to him traditions from Abu Musa. Therefore Ibn Abbas wrote to him asking him about certain things. In reply Abu Musa wrote to him saying: One day I was in the company of theMessenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. He wanted to urinate. Then he came to a soft ground at the foot of a wall and urinated. He (the Prophet) then said: If any of you wants to urinate, he should look for a place (like this) for his urination.
