حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَهْرِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: لَمَّا افْتُتِحَتْ خَيْبَرُ، سَأَلَتْ يَهُودُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُقِرَّهُمْ عَلَى أَنْ يَعْمَلُوا عَلَى النِّصْفِ مِمَّا خَرَجَ مِنْهَا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أُقِرُّكُمْ فِيهَا عَلَى ذَلِكَ مَا شِئْنَا فَكَانُوا عَلَى ذَلِكَ ، وَكَانَ التَّمْرُ يُقْسَمُ عَلَى السُّهْمَانِ مِنْ نِصْفِ خَيْبَرَ وَيَأْخُذُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْخُمُسَ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَطْعَمَ كُلَّ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِهِ مِنَ الْخُمُسِ مِائَةَ وَسْقٍ تَمْرًا وَعِشْرِينَ وَسْقًا شَعِيرًا، فَلَمَّا أَرَادَ عُمَرُ إِخْرَاجَ الْيَهُودِ أَرْسَلَ إِلَى أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ لَهُنَّ: مَنْ أَحَبَّ مِنْكُنَّ أَنْ أَقْسِمَ لَهَا نَخْلًا بِخَرْصِهَا مِائَةَ وَسْقٍ فَيَكُونَ لَهَا أَصْلُهَا وَأَرْضُهَا وَمَاؤُهَا وَمِنَ الزَّرْعِ مَزْرَعَةَ خَرْصٍ عِشْرِينَ وَسْقًا، فَعَلْنَا وَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ نَعْزِلَ الَّذِي لَهَا فِي الْخُمُسِ كَمَا هُوَ فَعَلْنَا.
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ جب خیبر فتح ہوا تو یہودیوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے درخواست کی کہ: آپ ہمیں اس شرط پر یہیں رہنے دیں کہ ہم محنت کریں گے اور جو پیداوار ہو گی اس کا نصف ہم لیں گے اور نصف آپ کو دیں گے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اچھا ہم تمہیں اس شرط پر رکھ رہے ہیں کہ جب تک چاہیں گے رکھیں گے،، چنانچہ وہ اسی شرط پر رہے، خیبر کی کھجور کے نصف کے کئی حصے کئے جاتے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس میں سے پانچواں حصہ لیتے، اور اپنی ہر بیوی کو سو وسق کھجور اور بیس وسق جو ( سال بھر میں ) دیتے، پھر جب عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے یہود کو نکال دینے کا ارادہ کر لیا تو امہات المؤمنین کو کہلا بھیجا کہ آپ میں سے جس کا جی چاہے کہ میں اس کو اتنے درخت دے دوں جن میں سے سو وسق کھجور نکلیں مع جڑ کھجور اور پانی کے اور اسی طرح کھیتی میں سے اس قدر زمین دے دوں جس میں بیس وسق جو پیدا ہو، تو میں دے دوں اور جو پسند کرے کہ میں خمس میں سے اس کا حصہ نکالا کروں جیسا کہ ہے تو میں ویسا ہی نکالا کروں گا۔
Abdullah bin Umar reported that Umar said “When Khaibar was conquered, the Jews asked the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم to confirm that they would do all the cultivation and have half the produce. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said “I shall confirm you on that condition as long as we wish. So they were confirmed on that (condition). The dates from half the produce of Khaibar were divided into a number of portions. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم would take the fifth. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم used to contribute from the fifth one hundred wasqs of dates and twenty wasqs of wheat to each of his wives. When Umar intended to expel the Jews from Khaibar he sent a message to the wives of the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and said to them “If any of you wishes that I divide the palm trees for her by their assessment that amounts one hundred wasqs (of dates) and to her belongs their root, their land and their water and (likewise) twenty wasqs from the produce of the cultivated land by assessment, I shall (do that). And if any of you wishes that we take out her portion from the fifth, we shall do (that).

Hadith 2928
Narrated Abdullah bin Umar: The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم as saying: Each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock. The amir (ruler) who is over the people is a shepherd and is responsible for hs flock ; a man is a shepherd in charge of the inhabitants of his household and he is responsible for his flock ; a woman is a shepherdess in charge of her husband's house and children and she is responsible for them; and a man's slave is a shepherd in charge of his master's property and he is responsible for it. So each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock.

Narrated Abu Musa: I went along with two men to see the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. One of them recited tashahhud and said: We have come to you so that you may employ us for your work. Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: When Allah has a good purpose for a ruler, He appoints for him a sincere minister who reminds him if he forgets and helps him if he remembers; but when Allah has a different purpose from that for him.
