حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّاقِدُ، حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، حَدَّثَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنَ الْغَائِطِ، قَالَ: غُفْرَانَكَ .
ابوبردہ کہتے ہیں کہ مجھ سے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب بیت الخلاء ( پاخانہ ) سے نکلتے تو فرماتے تھے: «غفرانك» اے اللہ! میں تیری بخشش چاہتا ہوں ۔
Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: When the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم came out of the privy, he used to say: Grant me Thy forgiveness.

Abu al-Tayyah reported on the authority of a shaykh (an old man): When Abdullah ibn Abbas came to Basrah, people narrated to him traditions from Abu Musa. Therefore Ibn Abbas wrote to him asking him about certain things. In reply Abu Musa wrote to him saying: One day I was in the company of theMessenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. He wanted to urinate. Then he came to a soft ground at the foot of a wall and urinated. He (the Prophet) then said: If any of you wants to urinate, he should look for a place (like this) for his urination.
