حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَنَّعَنْبَسَةَ بْنَ سَعِيدٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْعَاصِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، بَعَثَ أَبَانَ بْنَ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ عَلَى سَرِيَّةٍ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ قِبَلَ نَجْدٍ فَقَدِمَ أَبَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَأَصْحَابُهُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِخَيْبَرَ بَعْدَ أَنْ فَتَحَهَا وَإِنَّ حُزُمَ خَيْلِهِمْ لِيفٌ فَقَالَ أَبَانُ: اقْسِمْ لَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: فَقُلْتُ: لَا تَقْسِمْ لَهُمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ أَبَانُ: أَنْتَ بِهَا يَا وَبْرُ تَحَدَّرُ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ رَأْسِ ضَالٍ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: اجْلِسْ يَا أَبَانُ وَلَمْ يَقْسِمْ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سعید بن عاص رضی اللہ عنہ سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ابان بن سعید بن عاص رضی اللہ عنہما کو مدینہ سے نجد کی طرف ایک سریہ کا سردار بنا کر بھیجا تو ابان بن سعید رضی اللہ عنہ اور ان کے ساتھی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس اس وقت آئے جب کہ آپ خیبر فتح کر چکے تھے، ان کے گھوڑوں کے زین کھجور کی چھال کے تھے، تو ابان نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! ہمارے لیے بھی حصہ لگائیے، ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے: ہیں اس پر میں نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! ان کے لیے حصہ نہ لگائیے، ابان نے کہا: تو ایسی باتیں کرتا ہے اے وبر! جو ابھی ہمارے پاس ضال پہاڑ کی چوٹی سے اتر کے آ رہا ہے تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ابان تم بیٹھ جاؤ ، اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کا حصہ نہیں لگایا۔
Narrated Saeed ibn al-As: The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم sent Abu Saeed ibn al-As with an expedition from Madina towards Najd. Aban ibn Saeed and his companions came to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم at Khaybar after it had been captured. The girths of their horses were made of palm fibres. Aban said: Give us a share (from the booty), Messenger of Allah. Abu Hurairah said: I said: Do not give them a share, Messenger of Allah. Aban said: Why are you talking so, Wabr. You have come to us from the peak of Dal. The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: Sit down, Aban. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم did not give any share to them (from the booty).

Abu Saeed Al Khudri said “A Bedouin asked the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم about emigration. He replied “Woe to you! The matter of emigration is severe. Have you a Camel? He said, Yes.
