حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُصَفَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَمْزَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ شَيْخٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الأُرْدُنِّ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ نُسَيٍّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ قَالَ: رَابَطْنَا مَدِينَةَ قِنَّسْرِينَ مَعَ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ السِّمْطِ فَلَمَّا فَتَحَهَا أَصَابَ فِيهَا غَنَمًا وَبَقَرًا فَقَسَمَ فِينَا طَائِفَةً مِنْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَقِيَّتَهَا فِي الْمَغْنَمِ، فَلَقِيتُ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ فَحَدَّثْتُهُ فَقَالَمُعَاذٌ: غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَيْبَرَ فَأَصَبْنَا فِيهَا غَنَمًا فَقَسَمَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَائِفَةً وَجَعَلَ بَقِيَّتَهَا فِي الْمَغْنَمِ.
عبدالرحمٰن بن غنم کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نے شرحبیل بن سمط کے ساتھ شہر قنسرین کا محاصرہ کیا، جب آپ نے اس شہر کو فتح کیا تو وہاں بکریاں اور گائیں ملیں تو ان میں سے کچھ تو ہم میں تقسیم کر دیں اور کچھ مال غنیمت میں شامل کر لیں، پھر میری ملاقات معاذ بن جبل رضی اللہ عنہ سے ہوئی، میں نے ان سے بیان کیا، تو آپ نے کہا: ہم نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ غزوہ خیبر کیا تو ہمیں اس میں بکریاں ملیں تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک حصہ ہم میں تقسیم کر دیا اور بقیہ حصہ مال غنیمت میں شامل کر دیا ۱؎۔
Narrated Muadh ibn Jabal: Abdur Rahman ibn Ghanam said: We were stationed at the frontiers of the city of Qinnisrin with Shurahbil ibn as-Simt. When he conquered it, he got sheep and cows there. He distributed some of them amongst us, and deposited the rest of them in the spoils of war. I met Muadh ibn Jabal and mentioned it to him. Muadh said: we went on an expedition of Khaybar along with the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and we got spoils there. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم divided them among us and placed the rest of them in the booty.

Abu Saeed Al Khudri said “A Bedouin asked the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم about emigration. He replied “Woe to you! The matter of emigration is severe. Have you a Camel? He said, Yes.
