Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad)

واثلہ بن اسقع رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے غزوہ تبوک کے سلسلہ میں منادی کرائی، میں اپنے اہل کے پاس گیا اور وہاں سے ہو کر آیا تو صحابہ کرام نکل چکے تھے، تو میں شہر میں پکار لگانے لگا کہ کوئی ایسا ہے جو ایک آدمی کو سوار کر لے، اور جو حصہ مال غنیمت سے ملے اسے لے لے، ایک بوڑھے انصاری بولے: اچھا ہم اس کا حصہ لے لیں گے، اور اس کو اپنے ساتھ بٹھا لیں گے، اور ساتھ کھانا کھلائیں گے، میں نے کہا: ہاں قبول ہے، انہوں نے کہا: ٹھیک ہے، اللہ کی برکت پر بھروسہ کر کے چلو، میں بہت ہی اچھے ساتھی کے ساتھ نکلا یہاں تک کہ اللہ نے ہمیں غنیمت کا مال دیا، میرے حصہ میں چند تیز رو اونٹنیاں آئیں، میں ان کو ہنکا کر اپنے ساتھی کے پاس لایا، وہ نکلے اور اپنے اونٹ کے پچھلے حصہ ( حقیبہ ) پر بیٹھے، پھر کہا: ان کی پیٹھ میری طرف کر کے ہانکو، پھر بولے: ان کا منہ میری طرف کر کے ہانکو، اس کے بعد کہا: تیری اونٹنیاں میرے نزدیک عمدہ ہیں، میں نے کہا: یہ تو آپ کا وہی مال ہے جس کی میں نے شرط رکھی تھی، انہوں نے کہا: میرے بھتیجے! تو اپنی اونٹنیاں لے لے، میرا ارادہ تیرا حصہ لینے کا نہ تھا۔

Narrated Wathilah ibn al-Asqa: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم announced to go on expedition for Tabuk. I went to my family and then proceeded (on journey). The vanguard of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم had already proceeded. So I began to announce loudly in Madina: Is there anyone who takes a man on his ride, and he will get his share (from the booty? An old man from the Ansar (Helpers) spoke loudly: We shall have his share if we take him with us on our mount by turns, and he will have his meal with us. I said: Yes. He said: So go on journey with Allah's blessing. I then proceeded along with my best companion and Allah gave us booty. Some she-camels were given to me as my share of booty. I drove them till I reached him. He came out and sat on the rear part of the saddle of his camel. He then said: Drive them backward. He again said: Drive them forward. He then said: I find your she-camels very gentle. He said: This is your booty which I stipulated for you. He replied: Take your she-camels, my nephew; we did not intend (to get) your portion.
