حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ مَحْبُوبُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاق الْفَزَارِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ ابْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: غَيْرُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ،عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَانْطَلَقَ لِحَاجَتِهِ فَرَأَيْنَا حُمَرَةً مَعَهَا فَرْخَانِ فَأَخَذْنَا فَرْخَيْهَا فَجَاءَتِ الْحُمَرَةُ فَجَعَلَتْ تَفْرِشُ فَجَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ مَنْ فَجَعَ هَذِهِ بِوَلَدِهَا رُدُّوا وَلَدَهَا إِلَيْهَا وَرَأَى قَرْيَةَ نَمْلٍ قَدْ حَرَّقْنَاهَا فَقَالَ مَنْ حَرَّقَ هَذِهِ قُلْنَا نَحْنُ قَالَ: إِنَّهُ لَا يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يُعَذِّبَ بِالنَّارِ إِلَّا رَبُّ النَّارِ .
عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ایک سفر میں تھے کہ آپ اپنی ضرورت کے لیے گئے، ہم نے ایک چڑیا دیکھی جس کے ساتھ دو بچے تھے، ہم نے ان بچوں کو پکڑ لیا، وہ چڑیا آ کر زمین پر پر بچھانے لگی، اتنے میں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم آ گئے، اور ( یہ دیکھ کر ) فرمایا: اس چڑیا کا بچہ لے کر کس نے اسے بے قرار کیا ہے؟ اس کے بچے کو اسے واپس کرو ، اور آپ نے چیونٹیوں کی ایک بستی کو دیکھا جسے ہم نے جلا دیا تھا تو پوچھا: اس کو کس نے جلایا ہے؟ ہم لوگوں نے کہا: ہم نے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: آگ سے عذاب دینا آگ کے مالک کے سوا کسی کو زیب نہیں دیتا ۔
Narrated Abdullah ibn Masud: We were with the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم during a journey. He went to ease himself. We saw a bird with her two young ones and we captured her young ones. The bird came and began to spread its wings. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم came and said: Who grieved this for its young ones? Return its young ones to it. He also saw an ant village that we had burnt. He asked: Who has burnt this? We replied: We. He said: It is not proper to punish with fire except the Lord of fire.

Abu Saeed Al Khudri said “A Bedouin asked the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم about emigration. He replied “Woe to you! The matter of emigration is severe. Have you a Camel? He said, Yes.
