حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: كُنْتُ أَتَعَرَّقُ الْعَظْمَ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ، فَأُعْطِيهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَيَضَعُ فَمَهُ فِي الْمَوْضِعِ الَّذِي فِيهِ وَضَعْتُهُ، وَأَشْرَبُ الشَّرَابَ فَأُنَاوِلُهُ فَيَضَعُ فَمَهُ فِي الْمَوْضِعِ الَّذِي كُنْتُ أَشْرَبُ مِنْهُ .
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ میں حالت حیض میں ہڈی سے گوشت نوچتی، پھر اسے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیتی، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنا منہ اسی جگہ پر رکھتے جہاں میں رکھتی تھی اور میں پانی پی کر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیتی تو آپ اپنا منہ اسی جگہ پر رکھ کر پیتے جہاں سے میں پیتی تھی۔
Aishah said: I would eat flesh from a bone when I was menstruating, then hand it over to the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and he would put his mouth where I had put my mouth: I would drink, then hand it over to him, and he would put his mouth ( at the place) where I drank.

Abu al-Tayyah reported on the authority of a shaykh (an old man): When Abdullah ibn Abbas came to Basrah, people narrated to him traditions from Abu Musa. Therefore Ibn Abbas wrote to him asking him about certain things. In reply Abu Musa wrote to him saying: One day I was in the company of theMessenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. He wanted to urinate. Then he came to a soft ground at the foot of a wall and urinated. He (the Prophet) then said: If any of you wants to urinate, he should look for a place (like this) for his urination.

Anas bin Malik reported: When the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم entered the toilet, he used to say (before entering): O Allaah, I seek refuge in Thee. This is according to the version of Hammad. Abd al-Warith has another version: I seek refuge in Allaah from male and female devils.
