حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: جِئْتُ أُبَايِعُكَ عَلَى الْهِجْرَةِ وَتَرَكْتُ أَبَوَيَّ يَبْكِيَانِ، فَقَالَ: ارْجِعْ عَلَيْهِمَا فَأَضْحِكْهُمَا كَمَا أَبْكَيْتَهُمَا .
عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آ کر کہا: میں آپ سے ہجرت پر بیعت کرنے کے لیے آیا ہوں، اور میں نے اپنے ماں باپ کو روتے ہوئے چھوڑا ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ان کے پاس واپس جاؤ، اور انہیں ہنساؤ جیسا کہ رلایا ہے ۱؎ ۔
Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As: A man came to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and said: I came to you to take the oath of allegiance to you on emigration, and I left my parents weeping. He (the Prophet) said: Return to them and make them laugh as you made them weep.

Abu Saeed Al Khudri said “A Bedouin asked the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم about emigration. He replied “Woe to you! The matter of emigration is severe. Have you a Camel? He said, Yes.
