حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْخَيَّاطُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ الْعُمَرِيُّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْعَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَجِدُ الْبَلَلَ وَلَا يَذْكُرُ احْتِلَامًا، قَالَ: يَغْتَسِلُ، وَعَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَرَى أَنَّهُ قَدِ احْتَلَمَ وَلَا يَجِدُ الْبَلَلَ، قَالَ: لَا غُسْلَ عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ: الْمَرْأَةُ تَرَى ذَلِكَ، أَعَلَيْهَا غُسْلٌ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، إِنَّمَا النِّسَاءُ شَقَائِقُ الرِّجَالِ .
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا گیا کہ ایک شخص ( کپڑے پر ) تری دیکھے اور اسے احتلام یاد نہ ہو تو کیا کرے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: وہ غسل کرے ۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سوال کیا گیا کہ ایک شخص کو ایسا محسوس ہو رہا ہو کہ اسے احتلام ہوا ہے، مگر وہ تری نہ دیکھے، تو کیا کرے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اس پر غسل نہیں ہے ۔ یہ سن کر ام سلیم رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا: اگر عورت ( خواب میں ) یہی دیکھے تو کیا اس پر بھی غسل ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہاں، کیونکہ عورتیں ( اصل خلقت اور طبیعت میں ) مردوں ہی کی طرح ہیں ۔
Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم was asked about a person who found moisture (on his body or clothes) but did not remember the sexual dream. He replied: He should take a bath. He was asked about a person who remembered that he had a sexual dream but did not find moisture. He replied: Bath is not necessary for him. Umm Salamah then asked: Is washing necessary for a woman if she sees that (in her dream)? He replied: Yes. Woman are counterpart of men.

Abu al-Tayyah reported on the authority of a shaykh (an old man): When Abdullah ibn Abbas came to Basrah, people narrated to him traditions from Abu Musa. Therefore Ibn Abbas wrote to him asking him about certain things. In reply Abu Musa wrote to him saying: One day I was in the company of theMessenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. He wanted to urinate. Then he came to a soft ground at the foot of a wall and urinated. He (the Prophet) then said: If any of you wants to urinate, he should look for a place (like this) for his urination.

Anas bin Malik reported: When the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم entered the toilet, he used to say (before entering): O Allaah, I seek refuge in Thee. This is according to the version of Hammad. Abd al-Warith has another version: I seek refuge in Allaah from male and female devils.
