حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ: جَاءَتْ مُسَيْكَةُ مِسْكِينَةٌ لِبَعْضِ الأَنْصَارِ، فَقَالَتْ: إِنَّ سَيِّدِي يُكْرِهُنِي عَلَى الْبِغَاءِ، فَنَزَلَ فِي ذَلِكَ: وَلا تُكْرِهُوا فَتَيَاتِكُمْ عَلَى الْبِغَاءِ سورة النور آية 33 .
ابوالزبیر کہتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما کو کہتے سنا کہ ایک انصاری شخص کی مسکینہ لونڈی آ کر کہنے لگی کہ میرا مالک مجھے بدکاری کے لیے مجبور کرتا ہے، تو یہ آیت نازل ہوئی «ولا تكرهوا فتياتكم على البغاء» ( سورۃ النور: ۳۳ ) تمہاری جو لونڈیاں پاک دامن رہنا چاہتی ہیں انہیں دنیا کی زندگی کے فائدے کی غرض سے بدکاری پر مجبور نہ کرو ۔
Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah: Musaykah, a slave-girl of some Ansari, came and said: My master forces me to commit fornication. Thereupon the following verse was revealed: But force not your maids to prostitution (when they desire chastity).

Abdullah bin Umar said that he divorced his wife while she was menstruating during the time of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. So Umar bin Al Khattab asked the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم about this matter. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said “Order him, he must take her back and keep her back till she is purified, then has another menstrual period and is purified. Thereafter if he desires he may divorce her before having intercourse with her, for that is the period of waiting which Allaah the Glorified has commanded for the divorce of women. ”
