حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى امْرَأَةً فَدَخَلَ عَلَى زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ فَقَضَى حَاجَتَهُ مِنْهَا، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى أَصْحَابِهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ: إِنَّ الْمَرْأَةَ تُقْبِلُ فِي صُورَةِ شَيْطَانٍ، فَمَنْ وَجَدَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا فَلْيَأْتِ أَهْلَهُ، فَإِنَّهُ يُضْمِرُ مَا فِي نَفْسِهِ .
جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک عورت کو دیکھا تو ( اپنی بیوی ) زینب بنت حجش رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس آئے اور ان سے اپنی ضرورت پوری کی، پھر صحابہ کرام کے پاس گئے اور ان سے عرض کیا: عورت شیطان کی شکل میں نمودار ہوتی ہے ۱؎، تو جس کے ساتھ اس طرح کا واقعہ پیش آئے وہ اپنی بیوی کے پاس آ جائے، کیونکہ یہ اس کے دل میں آنے والے احساسات کو ختم کر دے گا ۔
Jabir said “The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم saw a woman so he entered upon Zainab daughter of Jahsh and had intercourse with her. He صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم then came out and said to his companions and said to them “A woman advances in the form of a devil. When one of you finds that he should go to his wife (and have intercourse with her) for that will repel what he is feeling.

Hadith 2046
Alqamah said “I was going with Abd Allaah bin Masud at Mina where Uthman met him and desired to have a talk with him in privacy”. When Abd Allaah (bin Masud) thought there was no need of privacy, he said to me “Come, Alqamah So I came (to him)”. Then Uthman said to him “Should we not marry you, Abu Abd Al Rahman to a virgin girl, so that the power you have lost may return to you?” Abd Allaah (bin Masud) said “If you say that, I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم say “ Those of you who can support a wife, should marry, for it keeps you from looking at strange women and preserve from unlawful intercourse, but those who cannot should devote themselves to fasting, for it is a means of suppressing sexual desire.
