حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بَكَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ حَرَامِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ،عَنْ عَمِّهِ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا يَحِلُّ لِي مِنَ امْرَأَتِي وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ، قَالَ: لَكَ مَا فَوْقَ الْإِزَارِ ، وَذَكَرَ مُؤَاكَلَةَ الْحَائِضِ أَيْضًا، وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ.
عبداللہ بن سعد انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا: جب میری بیوی حائضہ ہو تو اس کی کیا چیز میرے لیے حلال ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تمہارے لیے لنگی ( تہبند ) کے اوپر والے حصہ ( سے لطف اندوز ہونا ) درست ہے ، نیز اس کے ساتھ حائضہ کے ساتھ کھانے کھلانے کا بھی ذکر کیا، پھر راوی نے ( سابقہ ) پوری حدیث بیان کی۔
Narrated Abdullah ibn Saad al-Ansari: Abdullah asked the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم: What is lawful for me to do with my wife when she is menstruating? He replied: What is above the waist-wrapper is lawful for you. The narrator also mentioned (the lawfulness of) eating with a woman in menstruation, and he transmitted the tradition in full.

Abu al-Tayyah reported on the authority of a shaykh (an old man): When Abdullah ibn Abbas came to Basrah, people narrated to him traditions from Abu Musa. Therefore Ibn Abbas wrote to him asking him about certain things. In reply Abu Musa wrote to him saying: One day I was in the company of theMessenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. He wanted to urinate. Then he came to a soft ground at the foot of a wall and urinated. He (the Prophet) then said: If any of you wants to urinate, he should look for a place (like this) for his urination.
