حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ الْمِقْدَادِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَسْأَلَ لَهُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ إِذَا دَنَا مِنْ أَهْلِهِ فَخَرَجَ مِنْهُ الْمَذْيُ، مَاذَا عَلَيْهِ ؟، فَإِنَّ عِنْدِي ابْنَتَهُ وَأَنَا أَسْتَحْيِي أَنْ أَسْأَلَهُ، قَالَ الْمِقْدَادُ: فَسَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ: إِذَا وَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمْ ذَلِكَ، فَلْيَنْضَحْ فَرْجَهُ وَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ .
مقداد بن اسود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے انہیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ( اپنے لیے ) یہ مسئلہ پوچھنے کا حکم دیا کہ اگر کوئی شخص اپنی بیوی کے پاس جائے اور مذی نکل آئے تو کیا کرے؟ ( انہوں نے کہا ) چونکہ میرے نکاح میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی صاحبزادی ( فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا ) ہیں، اس لیے مجھے آپ سے یہ مسئلہ پوچھنے میں شرم آتی ہے۔ مقداد رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں: تو میں نے جا کر پوچھا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی اسے پائے تو اپنی شرمگاہ کو دھو ڈالے اور وضو کرے جیسے نماز کے لیے وضو کرتا ہے ۔
Narrated Al-Miqdad ibn al-Aswad: Ali ibn Abu Talib commanded him to ask the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم what a man should do when he wants to have intercourse with his wife and the prostatic fluid comes out (at this moment). (He said): I am ashamed of consulting him because of the position of his daughter. Al-Miqdad said: I asked the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم about it. He said: When any of you finds, he should wash his private part, and perform ablution as he does for prayer.

Abu al-Tayyah reported on the authority of a shaykh (an old man): When Abdullah ibn Abbas came to Basrah, people narrated to him traditions from Abu Musa. Therefore Ibn Abbas wrote to him asking him about certain things. In reply Abu Musa wrote to him saying: One day I was in the company of theMessenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. He wanted to urinate. Then he came to a soft ground at the foot of a wall and urinated. He (the Prophet) then said: If any of you wants to urinate, he should look for a place (like this) for his urination.

Anas bin Malik reported: When the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم entered the toilet, he used to say (before entering): O Allaah, I seek refuge in Thee. This is according to the version of Hammad. Abd al-Warith has another version: I seek refuge in Allaah from male and female devils.
