حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ تَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ثُمَّ تَحِيضُ، قَالَ: لِيَكُنْ آخِرُ عَهْدِهَا بِالْبَيْتِ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ: كَذَلِكَ أَفْتَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: أَرِبْتَ عَنْ يَدَيْكَ، سَأَلْتَنِي عَنْ شَيْءٍ سَأَلْتَ عَنْهُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِكَيْ مَا أُخَالِفَ .
حارث بن عبداللہ بن اوس کہتے ہیں کہ میں عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آیا اور آپ سے اس عورت کے متعلق پوچھا جو یوم النحر کو بیت اللہ کا طواف ( افاضہ ) کر چکی ہو، پھر اسے حیض آ گیا ہو؟ انہوں نے کہا: وہ آخری طواف ( طواف وداع ) کر کے جائے ( یعنی: طواف وداع کا انتظار کرے ) ، حارث نے کہا: اسی طرح مجھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بھی بتایا تھا، اس پر عمر نے کہا تیرے دونوں ہاتھ گر جائیں ۱؎! تم نے مجھ سے ایسی بات پوچھی جسے تم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھ چکے تھے تاکہ میں اس کے خلاف بیان کروں۔
Al-Harith ibn Abdullah ibn Aws said: I came to Umar ibn al-Khattab and asked him about a woman who has performed the (obligatory) circumambulation on the day of sacrifice, and then she menstruates. He said: She must perform the last circumambulation of the House (the Kabah). Al-Harith said: The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم told me the same thing. Umar said: May your hands fall down! You asked me about a thing that you had asked the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم so that I might oppose him.

Hadith 1721
Narrated Aqra ibn Habib: Ibn Abbas said: Aqra ibn Habis asked the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم saying: Messenger of Allah hajj is to be performed annually or only once? He replied: Only once, and if anyone performs it more often, he performs a supererogatory act. Abu Dawud said: The narrator Abu Sinan is Abu Sinan al-Du'wail. The same has been reported by both Abd al-Jalil bin Humaid and Sulaiman bin Kathir from al-Zuhri. The narrator 'Uqail reported the name Sinan .

Abu Hurairah reported the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم as saying: A woman who believes in Allah and the last Day must not make a journey of a day and a night. He then narrated the rest of the tradition to the same effect (as above). The narrator al-Nufaili said: Malik narrated us. Abu Dawud said: The narrators al-Nufail and al_Qanabi did not mention the words “from his father”. Ibn Wahb and Uthman bin Umr narrated from Malik the same words as narrated by al-Qanabi (i. e. omitted the words “from his father”).
