حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ، وَهَاشِمٌ يَعْنِيَ ابْنَ الْقَاسِمِ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: أَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَدَخَلَ مَكَّةَ، فَأَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ فَاسْتَلَمَهُ، ثُمَّ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ، ثُمَّ أَتَى الصَّفَا فَعَلَاهُ حَيْثُ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ، فَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ فَجَعَلَ يَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ مَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَذْكُرَهُ وَيَدْعُوهُ ، قَالَ: وَ الْأَنْصَارُ تَحْتَهُ، قَالَ هَاشِمٌ: فَدَعَا وَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَدَعَا بِمَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَدْعُوَ.
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم آئے اور مکہ میں داخل ہوئے تو پہلے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم حجر اسود کے پاس آئے اور اس کا بوسہ لیا، پھر بیت اللہ کا طواف کیا، پھر صفا کی طرف آئے اور اس پر چڑھے جہاں سے بیت اللہ کو دیکھ رہے تھے، پھر اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اٹھا کر اللہ تعالیٰ کا ذکر کرنے لگے اور اس کا ذکر کرتے رہے اور اس سے دعا کرتے رہے جتنی دیر تک اللہ نے چاہا، راوی کہتے ہیں: اور انصار آپ کے نیچے تھے، ہاشم کہتے ہیں: پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دعا کی اور اللہ کی حمد بیان کی اور جو دعا کرنا چاہتے تھے کی۔
Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم came an entered Makkah, and after the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم had gone forward to the Stone, and touched it, he went round the House (the Kabah). He then went to as-Safa and mounted it so that he could look at the House. Then he raised his hands began to make mention of Allah as much as he wished and make supplication. The narrator said: The Ansar were beneath him. The narrator Hashim said: He prayed and praised Allah and asked Him for what he wished to ask.

Hadith 1721
Narrated Aqra ibn Habib: Ibn Abbas said: Aqra ibn Habis asked the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم saying: Messenger of Allah hajj is to be performed annually or only once? He replied: Only once, and if anyone performs it more often, he performs a supererogatory act. Abu Dawud said: The narrator Abu Sinan is Abu Sinan al-Du'wail. The same has been reported by both Abd al-Jalil bin Humaid and Sulaiman bin Kathir from al-Zuhri. The narrator 'Uqail reported the name Sinan .

Abu Hurairah reported the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم as saying: A woman who believes in Allah and the last Day must not make a journey of a day and a night. He then narrated the rest of the tradition to the same effect (as above). The narrator al-Nufaili said: Malik narrated us. Abu Dawud said: The narrators al-Nufail and al_Qanabi did not mention the words “from his father”. Ibn Wahb and Uthman bin Umr narrated from Malik the same words as narrated by al-Qanabi (i. e. omitted the words “from his father”).
