حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ بْنِ قَعْنَبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ بِلَالٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى وَهُوَ ابْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَقُولُ: «لَوْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى مَا أَحْدَثَ النِّسَاءُ لَمَنَعَهُنَّ الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا مُنِعَتْ نِسَاءُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ» قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ لِعَمْرَةَ: أَنِسَاءُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مُنِعْنَ الْمَسْجِدَ؟ قَالَتْ: «نَعَمْ»
سلیمان بن بلال نے یحییٰ بن سعید سے اور انہوں نے عمرہ بنت عبد الرحمان سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے نبی ﷺ کی زوجہ حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے سنا ، وہ فرماتی تھیں کہ عورتوں نے ( بناؤ سنگھار کے ) جو نئے انداز نکال لیے ہیں اگر رسول اللہﷺ دیکھ لیتے تو انہیں مسجد میں آنے سے روک دیتے ، جس طرح بنی اسرائیل کی عورتوں کو روک دیا گیا تھا ۔ میں نے عمرہ سے پوچھا : کیا بنی اسرائیل کی عورتوں کو مسجد میں آنے سے روک دیا گیا تھا؟ انہوں نے کہا : ہاں ۔
Amra, daughter of Abd al-Rahmin, reported: I heard 'A'isha, the wife of the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ). say: If the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) had seen what new things the women have introduced (in their way of life) he would have definitely prevented them from going to the mosque, as the women of BaniIsra'il were prevented.

Abu Mahdhura said that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) taught him Adhan like this: Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest; I testify that there is no god but Allah, I testify that there is no god but Allah; I testify that Muhammad Is the Messenger of Allah, I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and it should be again repeated: I testify that there is no god but Allah, I testify that there is no god but Allah; I testify that Muhammad Is the Messenger of Allah, I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. Come to the prayer (twice). Come to success (twice). Ishaq added: Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest; there Is no god but Allah.
